Mouse monoclonal antibody to virion-associated envelope glycoprotein, a late protein encoded by ORF K 8.1 A and K 8.1 B of Kaposi’s Sarcoma-Associated Herpesvirus/Human Herpesvirus 8. Fusion proteins expressed in bacteria were 52-54 kDa and 48-50 kDa by ORF K 8.1 A and ORF K 8.1 B, respectively. This antibody originates from serum-free hybridoma cell culture medium and is purified by protein G chromatography.
